Hot: You really can’t beat this for the price tag. It’s not as glamorous as the rest of the bunch, nor is it as powerful or feature packed. It simply gets the job done with a reasonable price tag. Plus, not a lot of bloatware!
Not: The sound is what you would expect… terrible. It would be nice with an extra USB port or two, but for the price tag you can get an extender or a hub for a few bucks extra.

Hot: Like all Ultrabook’s, it’s light, small and powerful. It has a good video card and I’m a fan of the wireless n capabilities and the integrated webcam is surprisingly unobtrusive.
Not: No backlighting on the keyboard is a serious downer at the point. Coupled with the unresponsive touchpad, you better be in the mood to get used to the caveats of this machine. It is also a bit tough to open with one hand, unlike its Apple counterpart.

Hot: Very sharp, easy to read display. The sound is surprisingly good as well. I was pleasantly surprised at the 2 second resume time after hours on standby… a real game changer. Plus, it’s an Ultrabook… it’s slim and sleek!
Not: Getting past the “chicklet” style keyboard, there’s nothing major holding this one back. The WiFi is limited to 150 Mb/s and there is a 4GB RAM limit, which isn’t a deal breaker for the average user. In fact, most wont even notice.
